on water penetration, especially on Alfalfa. On cotton it also helps. We

mulched the ground up. They were the best beets we ever had and we
have been planting them for fourteen years. The irrigator came in and couldn't
believe it. He sat out there for eight hours running water. Normally
in that length of time running water on clay soil the water would be sitting in
the furrows. The water just dissipated. What we like about Acid-Sul
is its solvent, it dissolves, it works."
